What truly sets Monster Plumbing apart is that we founded various training institutions to empower tradespeople to become new monsters in their industries. We train plumbers with NQF Level 4-aligned courses at Monster Plumbing College. We also provide NQF Level 4-aligned training to aspiring young electricians and plumbers at Newgen Trade School. Furthermore, we help skilled plumbers and electricians acquire their trade test certificates at Nomanzi Trade School.

Our Monster of a History

The company was established in 1995 and rebranded to Monster Plumbing in 2008. With this, our iconic monster mascot was born, quickly becoming well-known and trusted around Cape Town.

It became clear to us that there was a need to train plumbers to uphold the excellent workmanship standards we pursue, and that is why Monster Plumbing College was founded in 2009. This vision later expanded into two more training institutions for plumbers and electricians: Newgen College trains youth to become artisans and Nomanzi Trade School helps skilled tradespeople obtain their trade test certificates.

The Monster family was only complete when Monster Electrical was established in 2022 to offer our valued clients the much-needed complementary service of expert electrical work.

Even monsters must keep up with the times. Therefore, we rebranded in 2024 to modernise our much-loved little monster. We are proud of how our monsters have developed and are excited to serve our clients for many more years with our plumbing expertise and advanced methods.
